From the dreamlike chaos of Hongyadong to the raw energy of Huangjueping Graffiti Street, the city feels alive from every angle. Add the creative pulse of Sichuan Fine Arts University, deep Bayu roots, exhibitions, salons, and artist meet-ups, and you’ve got a city made for exchange, inspiration, and big ideas.
Huangjueping Graffti Street, near the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in Chongqing’s Jiulongpo District, is known as one of the biggest graffiti spots in the world — stretching 1.25 kilometers with around 50,000 square meters of painted urban surface. This is not just a backdrop. It’s a living open-air statement.
This year, we’re bringing MOS into these streets. We’ll select strong walls, open up space, and let artists leave their mark right here in the heart of Chongqing.
It’s the first time MOS is landing in Chongqing — and that alone makes this edition something special.
For this year, confirmed artist support already includes 1,500 sufficient spray cans with more materials incoming! The energy is there, the walls are waiting, and the city is ready.
