Born in Apucarana BRAZIL in 1983, Márcio De Souza Luchtenberg assumed his identity as a Graiti Artist in late 2014, going by the name ZION. Inluenced by the Tags and letters of Graiti, he became acquainted with the art form through specialized magazines,
the internet, and, ultimately, artists who sparked his interest in the art. In 2014, he had his irst encounter with graiti writers at the country’s largest international graiti gathering, STREET OF STYLES. For the artist, graiti is a two-way street that forms connections with people and privileged dialogues, addressing diferent cultural modes of expression, and allowing for the interrelation of visual references, context, and everyday social and cultural life.
ZION always aims to create his artworks in easily accessible locations for audiences of all backgrounds, with a particular focus on graitiing more intensely in communities, neglected areas, major urban centers, and more. Today, ZION is the organizer of the
WALL OF STREET (Wall of Streets), a national Graiti event that brings together artists from various Brazilian states and even international artists.
He is an active participant in the national graiti scene, frequently invited to attend gatherings,
give talks, join panels, and lead workshops.
