I am a multidisciplinary artist and crafter from London with a primary focus on handmade jewellery. For the past three years, I have been designing one-off pieces and developing a style that is rich in feminine motifs and saccharine colour palettes. I have been creating under the name Teutie Pie, a play on my first name Teuta and the phrase βcutie pieβ.
I ventured into the world of street art when taking part in the Muralism Academy, hosted by Wood Street Walls. Here I was taught the theory of mural painting by professional street artist LeSpleen. I helped paint a community space for a youth charity, The Avalon Project. Together as a team, we designed a dynamic mural following a brief set to us, putting our theoretical knowledge into practice.
On the back of this experience, I was introduced to the Wom Collective and later attended their Winter Paint Jam in December 2023. Here I created my very first spray-painted piece in the famous Leake Street tunnel. It was a transformative experience where I painted alongside beginners like myself and met other amazing female artists of varying experience.
My work as Teutie Pie has aimed to join the journey of young women as they discover and embrace their unique style, confidence, and femininity. I hope to achieve the same goal with my future street art projects.
