Miguel Mazeda (b. 1995), visual artist, began his connection to art in 2011, interacting with the urban environment under the name Guel as a graffiti writer. He is from Vila Nova de Gaia, has a degree in Sound and Image and a Master’s in Management of Creative Industries from Universidade Catรณlica Portuguesa.
He brings together, in his curriculum, a vast portfolio with works for entities and brands of national and international renown such as Adidas, BMW, H&M, Liga Portugal, Prozis, Vitรณria Sport Clube, Zippy, among others. A diligent dissatisfied, he performed scientific research roles at the Universidade Catรณlica Portuguesa in European projects with high economic impact in the audiovisual and multimedia sector.
He is referenced by several publications as one of the greatest portuguese talents under 30, being responsible for some of the most mediatic murals in Portugal. He is a leader by nature, an irreverent art lover, organized and versatile. Method, professionalism and determination are values that drive him.
