Gorbe

“Gorbe” or “گربه” is an Iranian graffiti artist and illustrator known for his unique character, “Gorbe,” which means “Cat” in Persian. He has been active in the art scene since 2014 in Mashhad and later moved to Tehran in 2019 to explore the city’s more extensive graffiti scene and work opportunities.

His art primarily focuses on his “Gorbe” character, who inhabits a distinctive world filled with challenges that he must overcome, including defeating CCTVs, smashing televisions, and taking down the final boss, “Mr. Meat Grinder.” Additionally, his work reflects Persian culture with Persian letters featured in some of his graffiti.

Overall, “Gorbe” is an innovative artist whose work reflects his cultural heritage and creative imagination, making him a significant contributor to Iran’s graffiti scene.

"Robo Gorbe" has landed in the basement of "underground tehran"

This graffiti piece is for "Underground Tehran," an underground party organizer in Tehran. As an artist, I made sure to maximize the available space by incorporating Robo Gorbe hands to connect the right and left walls of the massive graffiti wall.
