Classically trained Jade Suayan is better known for her street art as Syn; but alongside this,
she has produced works that exists in galleries.
Diving deep into her art form, she explores the mystery and the repetitive nature of our thoughts. Her art reflects how we are constantly questioning our version of reality, as muddled by the chaos of our psyche. They explore themes of distortion in our perception. It is one of
the greatest mysteries of our lifetime. We will undoubtedly spend most of our lives attempting to understand our ever-changing minds. Suayan
depicts this depth and complexity of thoughts and emotions through overlapping elements and distorted images. Through the vibrant colors and cartoonish style, she also showcases the beauty in this seemingly Sisyphean struggle. Existing in a constant state of limbo with recent events has made the experience of brain fog and indistinguishable moods all the more relatable.
