Defining my style is complex for me, but looking for a definition, it would be expressive realism. The colors in my works have a direct relationship, because when I paint, I first look for a music artist.

For example: I listen to his work and try to make a synesthesia relationship of his character and more important work, in order to understand who I am painting. Graffiti for me is a way of life, a way of transmitting, generating feelings and emotions, transmitting culture and making reality in which we live bigger.

My nickname is tied to my uncle who is 7 years older than me, a musician, who had a music group in my neighborhood, when everyone called me Sovrino. When I was 15 years old I started bombing SVR everywhere and all the friends and acquaintances began to see what I painted for my neighborhood and the city.ย  Since I was little, the only for my mother to entertain me and keep me calm was to give me a pencil and paper. I loved drawing comos of that time, Maziner z, Asterix and Obelix, Goku.

When I was 10 years old I moved to Seville and started walking the streets early the days when one day I saw a great graffiti artist from Seville – Logan – painting a giant mural with some Cartoon characters. I was so impressed that I thought one day I could paint these kind of murals. The same week my friend and me bought cans and painted our first wall. The following year my mother was assigned to Granada. My references were already painting murals around the big city. When I got 16 I was commissioned to do my first mural in a restaurant and I began to believe in my possibilities. I moved to Barcelona, studied graphic design, doing small jobs and met a lot of writers. This was the time I seriously started working and to enjoy painting. Since 2002 I am dedicated seriously making walls of pastel model letters, but I always liked more portraits, dolls and the realism.

Constancy, work and sacrifice, many hours researching and seeing other artists inspires me in what I do. I wanted to Meeting of Styles three years ago, when I saw a way to meet new artists and to be able to travel, to leave something of myself as an artist in different places. Meeting of Styles is a great way to show, share and promote urban art and its rich number of artistic options.

I am inspired by everything that has to do with the history of where I live, musicians, people who influenced our present. I think everything is united. One of my dreams is to paint buildings and places where artists and important people like scientists, writers and relevant people used to live to portray them and thus remember our roots. I would love to be able to paint where my work lasts and is enjoyed by the spectators. A museum, a church. Combine sculpture and painting. We are living in a unique and very important time. Urban art captures the current situations and concerns, it therefore is necessary and turns the street into live museums.
