Eddie Luna is a respected muralist and project manager leading the Meeting of Styles in South Chicago and the annual Community Fair in the city’s far southeast side. His events unite graffiti artists, dancers, artisans, and local organizations for a powerful celebration of urban culture and community. A South Chicago resident since 1991, Luna has spent over two decades using public art to uplift neighborhoods, build partnerships, and promote safety and pride through creativity. Rooted in the industrial landscape of the Calumet Region, his work reflects the area’s challenges and resilience. Through murals, he raises awareness about environmental justice and helps shape a vision of a cleaner, more vibrant future—where art drives transformation and unity.
