YEST

Born in 1992 in Rionero in Vulture, Italy, Mattia Pisauro (alias Yest) discovered his passion for Hip Hop, rap, and graffiti during high school. In 2011, he moved to Rome to study comics and digital coloring at the International School of Comics.
Over the years, his art developed into a fusion of graffiti techniques and comic storytelling, inspired by the Vienna Secession and Art Nouveau. His work across Italy and Europe and led to collaborations with prominent figures in Italy’s music, publishing, and commercial sectors.
In 2017, Mattia teamed up with poet Er Pinto to create Point Eyes, an artistic duo that blends poetry and illustration in their work. In 2020, he joined the cultural association Terra Amara as coordinator of graphic design and exhibitions. Since moving to Milan in 2023, he has continued his career as an illustrator, street artist, and graphic designer.
