Miguel Molina is a mixed media artist with focus on the areas of painting, illustration (traditional and digital), tattooing , sculpting and scenography.Born and raised in the capital of Brazil, with a high interest in drawing since childhood , he started to paint in the streets during his teenage years and from then on graffiti led his artistic journey to participate in multiple creative projects in more than 15 countries around the world.
From bombing with political critics filled with grotesque monsters to beautiful murals that honour the traditions of our ancestours his work is mainly focused on characters in itโs full diversity. The style has a fantastical approach and surrealistic rendering , debating contemporary themes with a heavy influence from brazilian culture . A main characteristic in his graffitis is the adaptability not only to different medias but also to the environment , the people or the especific project heโs attending to, on a constant search for self improvement and new challenges.
Amongst a few other graf crews he represents ABP , that stands for Brazilian Academy of Characters, which is a national crew with 10+well stabilished writers with many years dedicated into creating unique and original graffiti characters and murals .
Fluent in a couple languages other than the native portuguese, he believes that art is the universal form of communication that brings the world together.
