Unity is a DJ, Bgirl, Lyricist and Graffiti writer with her feet planted firmly in HipHop’s community roots. Growing up in rural mid-Wales, she started experimenting with lettering long before making the connection to graffiti or picking up a spray-can. Her colourful pieces can be found across Cardiff where she now lives.

‘Self-taught, I have been influenced but not constrained by HipHop culture, painting graffiti-style letters, often combined with Bgirl characters, natural forms and the occasional photorealistic portrait.’

Unity has painted at festivals including Yardworks, BSide, Bring The Paint and Meeting of Styles.

Having established the majority of Cardiff’s open paint spots and currently working on ‘Graffiti in Health’ research projects, the RBF crew member has been invited to speak at conferences for Bristol University, Cardiff’s Festival of Voice and as far afield as Hong Kong University.
