Timoi is a graffiti artist, illustrator, and creative director whose career began in 1995 in Mid City Los Angeles. Known for pioneering the Big-Eye Doll aesthetic within the West Coast graffiti scene, she established herself as one of the early female voices painting narrative character work in public space. Her dolls became a familiar presence across Los Angeles through the late 1990s and early 2000s, developing into a signature style that bridges street art, emotional storytelling, and cosmic symbolism.
Currently based in Riverside, California, Timoi continues to expand her practice across multiple mediums, including spray paint, acrylic, oils, digital illustration, and animation. Her murals and character work have appeared in Los Angeles, New York City, Miami, and Guatemala, reflecting a consistently evolving artistic language grounded in Mayan heritage, futurism, and spiritual world-building.
She is the creator of the Zovereignty Galaxy, an original mythological universe centered around characters such as Calo, Tootsie, Holly, and Briana. This narrative framework informs much of her visual output and drives her ongoing work in publishing, animation, and world-building.
In addition to her fine art and murals, Timoi is the founder of a kawaii-inspired streetwear and accessories brand that merges Japanese subculture aesthetics with her iconic Big-Eye Dolls. Her brand features U.S. and U.K.-made apparel, bags, prints, and collectibles, cultivating a dedicated fanbase across social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, and Little Red Book.
Over the past two decades, Timoi has taught art workshops for youth, adults, and students with mental health challenges, bringing accessible creative tools to her community. Her work has been exhibited in galleries, festivals, and educational spaces, and continues to resonate for its emotional honesty, vibrant character design, and interdimensional storytelling.
