Skane

Skane is a graffiti artist, illustrator and muralist based in Chiapas, México. From the age of 15, he was fascinated by forms of expression that occurred on the street, and an emerging cultural movement of graffiti in the early 2000s, in which he would have his first contact with signatures and bomb-style letters. Over time, he was influenced by artists from comics, digital illustration and traditional painting, integrating these qualities into the language of graffiti. He has participated in different events at the national level and in events of international stature such as MOS (Meeting of Styles) Mexico.
Her work explores a versatility of forms; because it develops a dialogue between color, textures and details, present in characters from their own imaginary. Likewise, without neglecting essential aspects of graffiti such as letters, he investigates other languages through planes, lines and structures constituting a style.
