Shauna

Shauna is an Irish muralist and portrait artist based in London. Her visual arts practice is grounded in figuration and reflects on how self-definition is informed by place. She is interested in questions of unreliable memories, collective social identity, and inter-dependence. Recently she has been playing with light and optical illusions in her murals. Shauna is an alum of the Lewisham School of Muralism, has painted commercially with Graffiti Life and is a trustee of Camberwell Arts Festival. She is a member of both the WOM Collective and the Matchbox Collective.
