Scratch was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden and currently resides in New York City. She started painting graffiti as a teenager at the Stockholm graffiti school and exhibited her first solo show at Galleri Idébrunnen in Stockholm. She later relocated to New York City to work as an Art Director and Graphic Designer.
Scratch is one of NYC’s most innovative and accomplished female graffiti artists. She is a member of Urban Warriors (UW), one of New York City’s legendary graffiti crews, and has painted alongside and collaborated with renowned artists including Snake 1, Tats Cru, Crash, Kingbee UW and Ces.
Scratch is the founder and owner of Creative Firecracker, Inc., a creative agency specializing in creative direction, graphic design, murals, graffiti and street art.
Recent clients include Great Performances, Marc Jacobs, The New York Historical, Vogue Magazine and Waste Management.
Scratch has been invited to paint at the NYC Graffiti Hall of Fame eight times: 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Scratch has been featured in publications including The New York Times, Marie Claire Magazine Italy, CLOUT Magazine, 12ozProphet and Street Art NYC, as well as Swedish newspapers Dagens Nyheter, Expressen and Aftonbladet. She has also appeared on television in the Young Voices documentary (Sweden), Graffiti NYC TV, BronxNet and NY1, and on the Swedish podcast Svenska Graffare.
Scratch’s fantasy-infused graffiti pieces and original characters can be found on walls throughout all five boroughs of New York City.
