My name’s Sara, I’m 29, and I strongly believe in colors, flowers and biodiversity, which are the main topics of my murals.
During my adolescence, I have been feeling an increasing sense of not fitting in my city and in my relationships, and many troubles to recognise and express my inner world.
So I started painting by bedroom just to create a place where I could feel completely free to be, hoping to better unferstand myself after putting everything out.
Communication became my priority that led me towards a bachelor as a translator and interpreter.
However, I was always feeling a powerful urge to leave and find a place where I could truly belong and feel at home once again.
So, from the age of 18 onwards I started travelling as much as possible, getting to know myself through many other private rooms.
In South America, however, I met so many muralists and realized that the private walls of my room could become the public ones of parks, shops and streets. Communication, which is still a priority to me, became both verbal and visual and I decided to approach urban art as a way to connect with local people and intertwine our stories.
From that moment, in 2019, I started a self-taught education by exchanging food and accomodations for murals, acquaring technique, practice and above all, a true sense of fulfillment and trust in myself.
Nowadays I know I am my own home, and my beloved could finally see and accept me as I started recognising and accepting myself.
In my pathway through life and art, my greatest source of teaching and inspiration is nature.
I aim to valorize it in order to show how much we are all connected together and can learn from each others. I also strongly aim to create places and vibes that can give beauty and liveliness, and that can be a place of refuge, inspiration and motivation at the same time.
