Ruusa (Rosa Hultman) is an artist from Helsinki who has been active in street art since 2014. In her street art, Ruusa often paints on a current topic or grabs an idea from the local culture, wherever she paints. The smaller paintings, on the other hand, often deal with the history of cities, inspired by the architecture and the stories of the inhabitants. However, the works are characterized by glowing colors and a lively line.
Ruusa’s public works of art can currently be found in the murals in Helsinki’s Myllypuro, Vallila (collaboration) and the Hansakuja bridge underside mural (collaboration) in Itäkeskus, as well as the 60th anniversary mural of Kotkan Meripäivät Event (collaboration) completed 2022 in Kotka.
