Ruusa (Rosa Hultman) is a visual artist based in Helsinki, who has been active in the street art scene since 2014. Her paintings bring color and life to urban spaces, creating connections between the environment and the stories that live within it.
Her work draws inspiration from architecture, local history, and the people who make up the living city. Ruusaโs artistic expression is characterized by glowing colors, lively lines, and a rhythm that energizes public space.
Her public artworks in Finland can be seen in places like Espoonkeskus (Feels Like Home, 2025, depicting Ihor Vetushynskyi and Siri Kaskeala), the Cable Factory in Helsinki (Cable Factory History Corridor Murals, 2025), Helsinki (Myllypuroโs History, 2019), and Kotka (Kotka Maritime Festival 60 Years, collaborative work, 2022).
Alongside her artistic practice, Ruusa works as a producer in the field of street art and as a consultant for public art projects. She is the creator of the Mimmit peinttaa street art concept (launched in 2015), which empowers women artists and creates professional opportunities for them within the street art community.
