Rule

My name is Rule, I’m from from Tallinn, Estonia and represent NBL crew.

I first got interested in hiphop culture around 2013, with graffiti and breaking, but ended up taking breaking more seriously from that time in my teen years. Only later in my early adult years I decided to focus more on graffiti again, since I always had a passion for drawing.

Most of the inspiration and knowledge in my graffiti honestly comes from my years of being a bgirl. Even though they are two different things I see a lot of parallels in it and philosophies that can be used in both. Since the beginning I always was interested in the “science” of making letters flow. I like to flow more smooth and feminine, but also have little sharpness to them.

Besides painting graff and being a bgirl, for a living I work as graphic designer and occasionally do digital illustration commissions.
