Ricky Said

Ricky Said was born in 1986 in Turin, Italy.
Since childhood, he has shown a strong interest in visual communication, a passion that guided his studies, first graduating in photography at high school and later with a degree in Design.
Painting has always been a source of great fascination for him. He was particularly struck by Graffiti Art and the potential of the spray can when used as a tool for painting.
He had some early experiences with graffiti during middle school, but it was in the early 2000s that he truly began to engage with the discipline, focusing primarily on lettering.
From 2010 onward, his work increasingly shifted toward figurative painting, which allowed him to explore worlds filled with surrealism and psychedelia.
While he especially enjoys depicting animals, thanks in part to his background in photography, the true subject of his art is light.
