Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Based in Zürich, Switzerland.
Active for over two decades, PERLAZONE began painting in the early 2000s within the graffiti scene of Buenos Aires. What started with simple marker tags and skateboarding culture developed into a sustained and disciplined practice spanning walls, trains, and large scale public murals.
His work centers around a recurring figure, a demon protector that functions as both alter ego and guardian. Influenced strongly by animal energy, particularly feline forms, this character merges instinct, tension, and resilience. Wide eyes, clenched teeth, tears, and symbolic gestures appear repeatedly, forming a personal visual language that balances vulnerability and strength.
While his roots remain firmly grounded in graffiti tradition, PERLAZONE’s practice has evolved through more than 12 years of professional tattooing. The precision, control, and permanence required in tattooing have refined his line work, compositional clarity, and sensitivity to symbolism. This dual practice has strengthened his ability to move between raw street expression and deliberate, large-scale mural work without losing authenticity.
His aesthetic combines bold color fields, strong graphic structure, and cross cultural symbolic references, filtered through a distinctly South American perspective. He has painted across Europe, North America, and Latin America, continuing to expand his presence while maintaining the integrity of his origins.
PERLAZONE’s work stands at the intersection of street culture, personal mythology, and disciplined craft.
