Origami Explorateur is a Montreal-based street artist active since 2018. Her work, rooted in the tradition of Japanese origami, evokes themes of peace and ephemerality, transforming urban walls into poetic canvases.
She creates murals, often depicting silhouettes of women from behind, accompanied by origami cranes, symbols of peace. These works invite the public to reflect and embrace messages of hope.
She participates in international festivals such as Under Pressure in Montreal and Up Here in Sudbury. Additionally, she launched the GRAFF Urbain festival in 2021, celebrating urban art and spontaneous collaboration among artists. In addition to mural painting, Origami Explorateur offers workshops and installations, transforming public spaces into venues for artistic dialogue.
Her work continues to enrich the Montreal artistic landscape, blending Japanese tradition with contemporary expression, establishing her as an essential figure in street art.
