Nada Almergawi

I graduated with a fine arts degree in 2016 and have been passionate about painting, particularly
murals, since childhood. After graduation, I taught myself the intricacies of mural painting through
trial and error, ultimately developing my own style. Since then, I have worked as a freelance
muralist on various artistic and commercial projects. Storytelling is at the heart of my art-making
process.

My preferred medium is acrylic on canvas; I am captivated by brush strokes and layers of paint.
However, my true expression shines through public art, which is accessible to everyone. I love the
idea of passers-by contributing to the process and sharing their interpretations of the finished work.

My art often conveys a state of mind rather than a specific concept. I aim to create works that
resonate with how I feel, enabling others to tell their stories while allowing the audience to perceive
the pieces in their own unique ways.
