I am an artist who loves sketching and painting from live. All my characters and visual references usually come from me sketching them from real life and then using them for my art further to produce paintings; murals; sculpture etc.
I am with a background of a Fiber Artist (Textile Art and experimenting with traditional textile techniques with textile and non textile/ non traditional materials on non traditional ways to produce new ones) who is also multidisciplinary (Installation Art, Soft Sculpture; Mixed Media; Performance Art, Video Art) and predominantly uses sketching on paper or any surface and painting on canvas or any surface as forms of expression.
I also since 2020 enjoy walls.
I travel a lot and usually depict what moves me. In this sense it is very much capturing the motion, the vibe, the energy, the essence of a particular moment; capturing the vibe of a live music gig; capturing the motion of a breakdance move or skater kick flip; and depicting the abstract rhythms of shapes, colours, patterns. Also the rhythm of life through what I see in everything- people, cities, nature.
