MAK

Ricardo Sousa, artistic name MAK, is a Portuguese graffiti artist who has been passioned about art since he was young. The main basis for his development as graffiti artist was the early opportunity to meet and collaborate with artists from the Hip-Hop culture, and also to collaborate and latter to co-found Artistic Associations. Over the years MAK developed his own style in graffiti. In addition, he also paints on canvas, usually based on surrealism (see his art at instagram.com/mak__aveli). In 2019, MAK invited Bruna G, a novice artist, to form a duo. They created the brand “Graffiti Rasca” and have been doing graffiti for public and private Institutions, including Festivals. They are a very versatile duo who make custom works (see their works at www.graffitirasca.pt). Despite the growing number of works in Portugal, they aspire to have the opportunity to show their art abroad!
