Laylas Murals

I have been a mural/Street artist for 20 plus years and enjoy painting vibrant animals especially in my own style. I am very proud to be a part of Wom Collective for the last 3 years. I feel lucky to now work as an artist full time, for the last 3 years. I run workshops for all ages, from troubled teens in referral units, people with additional needs right over to elderly residents in homes wanting to embrace the cans! I have regularly painted in my community and have just started to volunteer running workshops local for a drug and alcohol charity in my hometown.

Painting is my life, my mind rarely shuts off to it. My sleep is poor because of it! But….Painting has seen me through the toughest darkest times in my life and i don’t think id be here without it. I want to pass non that positive energy i gain through art & hope it will also gives to others the passion it gives to me.

Since taking that plunge to go full time as an artist i have been honoured to of made friends for life through my painting and it has always been a dream of mine to paint outside of the UK and i feel i finally have the courage to apply and try to make this happen! If it is meant to be then it will happen.
