Laura Devita

Laura Devita, also known as Dev, is a female street artist hailing from Jambi City, Sumatra. Since she began painting on the streets in September 2021, her work has focused on spray paint techniques with a realist approach.
Using walls and public spaces as her medium, Dev’s work frequently blends strong feminine figures with organic elements such as flora and fauna. This creates a poetic visual contrast against the harshness of the urban landscape.
For her, painting in the streets is a way to reclaim space for women’s voices in a male-dominated industry. Beyond her aesthetic choices, Dev consistently champions narratives regarding women empowerment and the internal strength of women.
