IKER

Iker is makes murals and is a tattoo artist. Born in Iquitos (Peru) in 1996, he trained in the arts of painting and tattoo. Self-taught, his artistic universe finds its origins in the fusion of the repertoires of Amazonian cosmogony and urban culture. He has regularly participated in cultural events and exhibitions in different cities in Peru since 2014. In 2020, he spent almost two years living totally immersed in the jungle, during which he continued to enrich and perfect his practice of drawing and painting. In 2022, he spent a few months in Europe and Morocco, where he presented an exhibition of his work and collaborated with artists and cultural centres. As he experiments in the public space, Iker o ers us visions of his world and its in nite interactions.

Iker es artista muralista y tatuador. Nacido en Iquitos (Perú) en 1996, se formó en las artes de la pintura y del tatuaje. Autodidacta, su universo artístico encuentra sus orígenes en la fusión de los repertorios de la cosmogonía amazónica y la cultura urbana. Participa regularmente en eventos culturales y exposiciones en diferentes ciudades del Perú desde 2014. En 2020, pasó casi dos años en inmersión en la selva, durante la cual continuó enriqueciendo y perfeccionando su práctica del dibujo y la pintura. En 2022, pasa unos meses en Europa y Marruecos, donde presenta una exposición y colabora con artistas y centros culturales. Experimentando con el espacio público, Iker nos ofrece visiones de su mundo y su infinitas interacciones.
