Hitalo Rios aka “HIT” was born in 1984 in the mountains of the Sierra de la Libertad, Peru. Son of peasants, he spent his childhood surrounded by animals and nature. At the beginning of his pre-adolescence his family migrates to the city to a marginal and deserted neighborhood in the outskirts of Trujillo. It is there where Hitalo begins to discover the street, the conflicts and violence that inhabit the peripheries of the cities. It is in this context that, through a traveling artist, he discovers the aerosolography. A world opens up before him that leads him to initially attend the school of Fine Arts (where he does not manage to resist more than one semester) but curiosity leads him to become a self-taught artist. His inspiration and intuition need open spaces and so Hit begins his initiatory journey with aerosol and pavement with chalk through Latin America.
