Chilean architect and visual artist, lives in Leipzig, Germany. Here he develops his artistic work, which moves between painting, installations and street art projects, especially murals and installations, both in Germany and abroad (Spain, Portugal, Chile among others).
My artistic work consists of creating images, artifacts and optical illusions that distort the viewer’s gaze on the place and on the reality they construct. In my works, uninterrupted relationships are the central element to create false interpretations of what is the viewer’s reality, questioning what exists. questioning what exists. The focus here is to be able to make visible and reflect on what is missing or no longer exists and what one wants to remember.
Currently this is in a process of recognizing patterns that generate learning and recognition of themselves, being the repetition of these the learning method that allows to memorize them and therefore remember them and generate memory. This repetition of patterns leads to experimentation with geometries and optical illusions causing images or situations that provoke irritation and confusion. situations that provoke irritation and confusion in the spectator. Combining the repetition of actions with experimentation produces that these activities are shown as a set of facets that are intertwined, as if they were three-dimensional planes, proposing this perspective to explore and open the mind to new territories.
