Anis Djebli is a self-taught visual artist from Tlemcen, Algeria,
currently based in Oran. His multidisciplinary work spans mural
art, street art, painting, and photography. A graduate in law from
Abou Bakr Belkaid University, he left the legal path to fully pursue
his passion for visual expression. Through bold colors and raw
compositions, Djebli explores themes such as identity, belonging,
religion vs. culture, and everyday life in Algerian neighborhoods.
His signature project, El Houma , is an ongoing visual narrative of
community life and social memory painted directly onto the walls
of his country. He has exhibited across Algeria and Tunisia,
including major shows at the Institut Français in Oran, Tlemcen,
and Constantine and Tunisia.
