Sensitive, meticulous, and creative from a young age, Daisy began seriously pursuing artistic practice during adolescence upon discovering the world of graffiti. As a self-taught artist, he created his first works before earning a degree in typography and graphic design from ERG in Brussels. His practice spans multiple mediums, including painting, graphic design, illustration, performance, and photography.
A great lover of letters, his work initially revolved around them for a long time. He experimented with various representational techniques such as tagging, lettering, typeface design, and calligraphy with a pen.
It was only later, driven by the desire to confront the formality of letters with the spontaneity of movement, that he developed an increasingly abstract pictorial lexicon, eventually abandoning the representation of letters altogether.
Today, the abstraction in his creations expands the realm of possibilities by crafting spaces open to interpretation. Through organic and primitive compositions, the meaning of the work is not imposed on viewers, inviting them to question, reflect, and stimulate their imagination.
