my name is Oki fazrial akbar a.k.a BIRDIE ALIVE I’m a illustrator and street artist based in Banda Aceh, Aceh – Indonesia. I created a bird character named birdie, which I enjoy pairing with the blue sea and bright sky reminiscent of my hometown, Aceh.
Birdie in my mind is a simple movement that is so meaningful, flying and seeing everything from above while feeling the wind and landing anywhere.
I like to draw on street walls so that everyone can enjoying my works of art I make.
with my crew Akar Imaji from Aceh, trying to introduce street art to Acehnese people and visitors who come to Aceh. with each member’s style and still carrying the cultural identity in Aceh, we combine graffiti culture with what we can present about the culture in Aceh.
