Alain Welter, muralist and illustrator from Luxembourg, has made a name for himself both locally and internationally through his unique artistic style. After studying Illustration Design at BTK in Berlin, he returned to Luxembourg, where he became deeply rooted in the local art scene. One of his most notable projects and breakthrough was “Make Koler Kooler,” where he transformed his hometown, Koler (Kahler), into an urban art museum, showcasing large-scale murals that added color and vibrancy to the village.โ
Welter’s work extends beyond murals; he has designed buses, published his own book and realized many projects for big companies, such as stamps for the Luxembourgish national postal service. He has held solo exhibitions in art galleries and contributed to several charity projects. His ability to blend artistic expression with public space has brought him widespread recognition.
