5TART/ Tomas Stary

Hello there! I’m Tomas Stary (*1994), a Czech visual artist and freelance digital designer based in Prague. My work explores and expands the boundaries of typography, drawing heavy inspiration from the aesthetics of graffiti.

Since 2010, I’ve been active in the art scene, leaving my mark in over 15 countries around the world.

In 2020, I earned my Master of Arts degree in design, an achievement that—together with my graffiti roots—forms the core foundation of my artistic style.

My work focuses on the architecture of shapes, reflecting a deep understanding of design principles—or at times, a deliberate effort to push beyond them.
