Earlier this year, an earthquake caused significant damage, resulting in many houses collapsing and impacting local tourism.

In response, the local development group is planning activities to help the community grow.
With the earthquake damage, a lot of buildings in the city need a makeover.
We hope that putting art on these walls will inspire and energize the local residents.
The event will be in a Hualien City neighborhood with lots of tall buildings, plus walls and iron rolling doors all around. We’ll invite top teams from Taiwan’s hip-hop scene to join local groups for turntable, hip-hop, and skateboard competitions, ending with a hip-hop party in the evening.
We also want visiting graffiti artists to connect with local residents and teenagers, creating interactive artworks together.
Before the main event in Hualien, foreign artists will host a warm-up jam and welcome party in Taipei City. This will be a great chance to collaborate with local graffiti artists. Weโre organizing easy transportation to Hualien, so you donโt have to worry about the long trip.
