Arianna Martucci was born in Italy but she is still searching for the place where she will settle down. Traveling and discovering new worlds, she allows herself to be influenced by every encounter and every job offer. So, she continues to evolve as an illustrator, representing her desires, her vision of the world, and the emotions that each new journey brings with it through her drawings.
Trees, leaves, plants, insects, metamorphoses and evolutions intertwine, create and build her imagery. She likes to depict unusual monstrosities, cyborg, hybrid and genderless bodies that create new worlds where mutual support, respect for the other and care are the basis. All this to create new symbioses.
Struggling with urban art, she pursues her personal project โBranching outโ, which explores the concept of branching out as a metaphor for metamorphosis and the interconnection between human and nature. The project aims to highlight the resilience of the natural world, which through its spontaneous expansion recaptures disused surfaces and structures, creating a dialogue between decadence and rebirth.
Her daily life is full of love for nature, animals and everything that is invisible, curious, angry and wants to break the rules. This leads her to become active on a daily basis in the contexts of environmentalism, anti-specism and the LGBTQ+ sphere.
Arianna graduated from art school, worked for 5 years in the world of Computer Graphics, in 2022 she attended the Mimaster and now works as an illustrator, mural artist and teaches 3D Modelling.
