My name is Raphaël Dairon (aka M.Roboto), a multidisciplinary artist whose journey led me to settle in Montreal — a city that marked a decisive turning point in my artistic exploration. It is there that I immersed myself in the world of street art, first by creating murals and participating in exhibitions with Fresh Paint Gallery, and later by contributing to Montreal’s urban art scene through events such as Under Pressure, Canettes de Ruelle, and MURAL Festival.
For over ten years, I have developed a mural practice nourished by comics in all their forms — from Japanese manga to comic books and graphic novels. These influences fuel my desire to create immersive worlds guided by storytelling and world-building. Science fiction, with my fascination for the cyborg figure and the intersection of organic and mechanical elements that questions our humanity, as well as the fantastical — where time and memory take shape through ruined or cosmic architectures — are central themes in my work.
Through mural painting, I aim to create detailed, immersive, and vibrant works that invite exploration. My intention is to transform surfaces into fragments of visual narratives where the eye can wander freely and immerse itself in a rich, story-driven universe.
