DRPN SOUL

DRPN Soul aka Kalkidan Assefa is an Ethiopian-born Artist + Muralist + Art-Based Educator currently residing as a guest on Unceded Anishinabewaki Omàmìwininìwag Land.

With a background in Fine Arts and a foundation in hip hop spanning back to the late 1990’s, DRPN Soul has successfully blended elements of street and studio into a professional arts practice for over a decade.​ As the Visual Arts Coordinator for House of Paint in Ottawa from 2019 – 2022, he has also worked with various artists and crews to coordinate some of the largest mural projects in the city.
