Lexi Bella is a professional street artist and gallery artist based in New York City. She received her BFA in Painting from Rosemont College in 2003 and her MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 2006. Bella is known for her large-scale spray murals, which can be found in cities across the United States, as well as internationally in Rome, Italy; Veszprem, Hungary; Paris, France; Lausanne, Switzerland; Jamaica and Bristol, UK. In 2014, she was awarded a National Endowment for the Arts Grant to produce the Lower East Side Heroines Project. Bella has also completed numerous mural projects in New York City, including The Bushwick Collective, The L.I.S.A. Project, Welling Court Mural Project, Centrefuge Public Art Project, and Audubon Mural Project.
In addition to her mural work, Bella is also an accomplished oil and acrylic painter and has exhibited her work at various galleries in New York City, Miami, and Los Angeles. She has been featured on the television shows Project Runway AllStars and Skin Wars Fresh Paint, and was a featured artist and assistant producer of the 49 Wyckoff Urban Paint Jam with the world famous Hera. Most recently in Spring 2024 she was commissioned by World Famous Metlife Stadium and Ticketmaster to create a mural for the VIP section of the stadium. Bella is currently accepting commissions for paintings, portraits, murals, and is available for experiential marketing and pairing with brands who share the same goals.
