Started Graffiti art in 1995-96. Wrote various names. 2ARS quit writing for 15 years then started again in his later years. He’s now 100% active. Graffiti art was his first passion. He was about 11-12 when he first watched a graffiti bombing movie and became fascinated and set out to go bomb his first wall, running and hiding when a car would pass by. Life happened and he lost interest in graff for awhile. Re found his passion and simply cant stop. With a new found respect for art as a whole, graffiti is his go to. Coming out of Southern California, US, graffiti was everywhere. Bombing and tagging was the only thing at the time. 2ARS art has evolved into more piecing and painting acrylic on canvas. A lot of his influence comes from the Inland Empire, Los Angeles and San Diego areas growing up, while moving all over SOCAL. Currently a San Diego County resident. North County. A really outdoor type of person. Traveling near and far to paint places that take time and camping to achieve. Southern Ca has it all. Mountains and snow to desert dunes to the ocean in the same day making sure to put his mark! 2ARS. A take on his initials RR. Like double R’s.
