Hello, I am Garrido, a calligraphic artist from Venezuela who has found his most authentic form of expression in calligraphy. I have been perfecting my calligraphy technique for the last eight years. Currently, I reside in Barcelona, Spain.
My artistic approach has focused on three main areas: muralism, tattoos and digital design.
My motto, “The word has energy,” is the backbone of my work. Through my calligraphy, I seek to convey that unique energy that I believe resides in each word.
My goal is to inspire, move and provoke reflection in those who interact with my work. In addition to calligraphy, I explore the terrain of the abstract that I call #gextura.

GESTURES + TEXTURE = GEXTURA
This series, which resembles mandalas, uses colors, transparencies and layers to convey the same energy present in my motto, but in a more abstract way. Here, I invite the viewer to immerse themselves and let their imagination flow. Barcelona has become my creative home, and my work seeks to be a bridge between my Venezuelan roots and the European art scene. Every stroke and every project reflects my dedication to authenticity and emotional connection through art. My creative journey continues, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my perspective through calligraphy and the abstract.
