William Van Der Avoort

William, also known as Frog, is a Belgian artist born in 1999.
He discovered graffiti in 2015 a revelation that became the guiding thread of his artistic journey and led him to the École de Recherche Graphique (ERG) in Brussels.
His visual universe, both figurative and introspective, draws from his emotions and the everyday rhythm of a free-spirited life, sometimes alternative, with little regard for established norms.
A recurring symbol in his work, the image of a frog’s head gently echoes a childhood nickname given by his sister.
True to his graffiti roots, Frog constantly experiments with techniques such as watercolor, acrylic, spray paint, and airbrush and on a wide range of surfaces canvas, wood, walls, trains, even the human body.
