Chio The One

My name is Nikolai, i go by the artist name “Chio”and I am a graffiti street artist with a passion for creating bold and colorful pieces that showcase the vibrancy and contrast of urban life in Copenhagen.
My art is inspired by the energy of Copenhagen streets, and I believe that every blank wall or surface is an opportunity to bring life and color to the people around us.

I first fell in love with graffiti as a teenager, when I would go to abandonned factories and photograph details of decayed buildings and the art in them. As I honed my skills over the years, I began to realize that graffiti had the power to transcend boundaries and bring people together in unexpected ways at graffiti jams, and i started gaining interest in tagging and painting as well.

Now, as a professional artist, I have had the opportunity to participate in a number of graffiti festivals and street art events around the world. I have collaborated with other artists from diverse backgrounds, and I have seen firsthand the power of art to build bridges and create connections across cultures,from my many backpacking travels, across the world.

My work is characterized by bold lines, bright colors, and a sense of energy movement. I often incorporate elements of street culture and hip hop into my pieces or characters, paying homage to the roots of graffiti as a form of urban expression.

On my Instagram page, you can see some of my recent work, including large-scale walls, fresh pieces, and smaller designs. Each piece is a reflection of my love for the art form and my desire to share its beauty and power with the world.
