It’s been a long time since Meeting Of Styles last came to the UK — and now, for the very first time, MOS is heading to Wales (Cymru)! For the Cymru Edition, we’re opening up two major wall spots: one set in a wide, green park, with train tracks running along the top of the wall, and another right in the heart of the city, stretching alongside the river. Cardiff has seen some truly incredible works over the years, and we can’t wait to see what MOS will bring to our city this time.
Beyond the walls, the weekend will be packed with energy — music and food, an exhibition, pre- and after-parties with open cyphers, and a warm Welsh welcome for everyone who joins us. With a b-boy battle in the works and beatboxers already warming up, it’s clear this is shaping up to be a weekend to remember.
This year’s theme, “Togetherness,” resonates deeply here in Wales. In Welsh, “Ymyned” speaks of many people coming together and echoes the idea of community. “Ynghyd” means together, while “Unoliaeth” stands for unity and unification.
