A multi-disciplined Artist residing in the Wollongong area, Samuel grew up on the South Coast of NSW. Connected to nature and the ocean from an early age, he draws inspiration from nature, travel and the connections made both with humans and spiritually.
The son of a photographer, Samuel grew up taking photos and developing film in the darkroom that later became his bedroom/studio, his early life surrounded by and working in photography were the building blocks to his own creative persuits. After completing his Graphic Design Diploma, a year backpacking abroad reinvigorated his passion for street art, and after returning home began working as a full time freelance Designer/ Illustrator/ Muralist, with the goal of becoming a full time street artist. He has currently been working on murals and art exclusively for 3 years.
Being a vibrant and energetic person, he expresses his love for life with bright, vivid striking colour palettes. Using a rage of different techniques used in many different disciplines Samuel has created a unique process, diving deeply into the exploration of the human form and the nature world and exploring the complex relationship between the two, and the impact they have on his own life and path.
Samuel has worked closely in the mental health sphere, in particular youth services and disabilities. Suffering from a rare nerve disease himself, he uses his vibrant energy, passion for human connection and artistic talents when painting in the public arena to try to be a positive role model for people to overcome adversity.
